I grew up in a Christian home and as a missionary kid in Spain. I responded to Christ’s offer of salvation at a young age and experienced significant growth in my faith during my high school years. It’s amazing to see God’s work in my life as He continues to reveal more of Himself to me, changing my heart to become more like His Son. The Lord has given me a passion to disciple young women as they go through the adolescent years. The Lord clarified this calling after teaching HS Spanish for 2 years in Northern Virginia. The Lord brought me out to CA to begin working in youth ministry at Emmanuel Faith Community Church, where I served for 3 years.
I completed my Master’s degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling at Talbot School of Theology. My coursework was challenging and extremely rewarding. One of my favorite books is “Let the Nations Be Glad” by John Piper which so beautifully displays God’s redemptive purpose for all mankind and how blessed we are to be used in accomplishing His plan.
Some other hobbies include; drinking tea, running, listening to good music, card games, traveling, foreign languages, ethnic food, and tennis.
